Safety Management Settings

Contents
The topics in this section explain how to set up values that are used to create and classify safety provisions and override incidents.
Tip: You can mark individual setting values as “inactive” while you are setting up APM for safety management. Inactive values are not available for selection on safety objects. To deactivate or reactivate a value, select the Safety Management view, the Settings tab, and the tab for the type of setting. Select the value in the list and click Mark as Inactive or Mark as Active. The Mark as Inactive/Active dialog appears, where you can enter a comment and click OK. Click OK in the confirmation message that appears.
Change sets are references used to group and filter safety provision versions and strategy development analyses. They can be used to change the safety status of provision versions and the study statuses of analyses that reference them. You can create change sets in the Strategy Development and Safety Management views, on the Change Sets tab. For information about defining change sets, see Creating Change Sets.
