Setting up Safety Impact Values

Safety impact values identify the extent of the hazard, for example, “Extensive, widespread”. They are referenced on safety provision versions.

To Set up a Safety Impact Value

1.	On the site’s Safety Management view, select the Settings tab, and the Safety Management Settings node in the tree.

Tip: You can also select the site’s Administration menu and then Safety Management. The Safety Management Settings dialog appears.

2.	Select the Safety Impact tab. This tab shows the values defined for the site.

3.	Click New. The safety impact Properties window appears.

4.	Provide a name for the safety impact.

5.	To represent the impact with a different icon in tables, click Change Icon, select another image, and click OK.

6.	Enter a description.

7.	Click OK. The method is added to the Safety Impact tab.
