You can import data (for example, assets and indicator readings) into APM staging tables and then validate and process the data to import it into the APM database. Staging tables can be populated from Microsoft Excel® workbooks or through other means, for example, an external process or interface. The topics in this section explain how to import data using Excel files and how to work with process jobs and batches.
