If you have sites in multiple countries, or if you deal with international suppliers, you should review the International settings. The Install database comes with some countries, states and provinces already entered, as well as currencies. However, you might need to enter any that you work with that are not in the list.

In addition, for each state or province you can enter localities. Countries, states, provinces and localities can all be linked to taxes.

You can add countries, their states or provinces, and localities in the Enterprise window, in Application settings. You can set up and maintain currency exchange rates in the Accounting view on the Enterprise window. This section explains how to set up countries and currencies.
