Concepts Tasks Settings Removing the Link Between a Work Request and a Work Order Task You can remove the link between a work request and a work order task. This returns the status of the work request to “New”. An audit record is created that you can view in the History view. To Remove the Link Between a Work Request and a Work Order Task 1. Open the work request. 2. From the Tools menu, select Remove Link to Work Order. A warning message appears. 3. To continue and remove the link, click Yes. 4. You can now: • Link the work request to another work order or create a new work order for the request. See Linking a Work Request to a Work Order Task. • Cancel the work request.
