Importing Time Zone Information

On rare occasions, you might need to update the APM database with the latest time zone data, for example, to capture changes when countries opt out of daylight saving time. APM provides a utility that downloads the latest data from Nodatime.org.
Note: The new information affects only future date calculations. No existing APM data is altered.
To use the Time Zone Import Utility, you need:
The utility supports APM SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL Azure databases.

To Run the Time Zone Import Utility

Either enter a value in the Connection String field or select a data source in the DSN list.

Click Connect. When the utility successfully accesses the APM database, “Not Connected” is replaced by “Connected”, database information is added to the dialog, and the Upgrade button is enabled. For example:
