Tables Do Not Show Complete Lists of Objects

Many views in APM have tables that show lists of objects such as assets, work orders, or indicators. In some tables, you have the option of viewing a list for the current asset only, the current asset and below in the physical hierarchy, or the current asset and above in the physical hierarchy.
Each hierarchy in APM has a relator table that stores every ancestor/descendant relationship for every object in the hierarchy. It is automatically updated by APM as objects are added or moved within the hierarchy. If you notice that APM is not displaying all of the objects that it should display (for example, if objects you know should display are missing from the table), the relator tables for your database may have become corrupted.
You can try to fix the relator tables using the Build Hierarchy Relator Tables method. You can also rebuild a specific hierarchy.
Note: Make sure that all other APM users are logged off of the system before you begin.

To Fix the Relator Tables

1.
2.
To rebuild all hierarchies, click the Tools menu and then Build Hierarchy Relator Tables. APM rebuilds the relator tables and displays a progress dialog. The process might take a few minutes to finish.
To rebuild one hierarchy, click the Tools men and then Rebuild a Hierarchy. The Rebuild a Hierarchy dialog appears, where you can select a hierarchy and click OK. APM rebuilds the relator table.
