Concepts Tasks Settings Remote Computer is Locked by Temporary Service Provider When an APM Remote user manually processes upload transactions and receives the error message “Mobile computer <remote_computername> locked by temporary service provider”, it could be due to one of the following reasons: • the client session was killed during the upload • the network connection was lost during the upload • an application exception or crash occurred. This topic describes how to unlock a remote computer from within the APM application. To Unlock a Remote Computer 1. From the Enterprise window, select the Services view, and then the Servers tab. 2. Select the remote computer in the Server Machines list. 3. In the servers list, right-click the temporary server, and select Delete. 4. In the Service Providers list, right-click the temporary service provider, and select Delete. The remote computer is unlocked.
