Concepts Tasks Settings Creating Replenishment Requisitions for Serialized Tool Resources For replenishment of serialized resources, units are counted based on their current status. The warehouse-item calculation follows. For serialized tools, units with an “In Use” status are included in the available quantity because the units are expected to be returned. The calculation does not include scrapped units. The installed and uninstalled statuses are not applicable for tools. The available quantity for serialized tools includes units with the following statuses: • Spare • Returned to Inventory • Awaiting Installation • In-transit Note: You cannot use manual requisitions to purchase new units. Resource units requisitioned on a manual requisition cannot be received into inventory. Non-serialized Tools For non-serialized tools the available quantity calculation is the same as for material resources. The available quantity is equal to the resource’s on-hand, in-transit, and on order quantities. You can set up tool resources for automatic or manual replenishment.
