Sending an Asset Activity Report for Approval

If the site settings require asset activity reports to be approved, you can send a report for approval.

This topic explains how to send an asset activity report for approval.

To Send an Asset Activity Report for Approval

1.	Open an asset activity report that you want to send for approval.

2.	Click the Report menu and then Send for Approval. The Send for Approval dialog appears.

3.	Complete the following information:

Approval Route

The approval route being used to approve the request.

Comments

Requester comments are displayed in the site’s Approvers view, Requests tab, as well as in the Approval Request window, Request Info tab.

Notification

Select whether or not the approval request’s originator should be notified by email when the approval route is completed. Depending on the site’s settings, the originator is either the “Created by” employee or the employee who is sending the approval request. The name of the person considered to be the originator is shown in this section. To have APM automatically send an email to the originator once all approvers have reviewed the request, select Yes, send an email when the approval process is complete.

4.	When you are finished, click Send for Approval. The asset activity report is sent for approval.
