Saving and Closing Objects

Whenever you make changes in an object’s window, you must save the changes. When you have finished working with the object and saved your changes, you can close the window. It is important to close objects when you are done working with them to reduce the amount of memory that the system is using on your computer.

To Save an Object

Do one of the following to save the current object:
If required information is missing for the object, a message appears.

To Close an Object

To close an object, click in the top right corner of the window.
If the object has not been saved, a message prompts you to do so. If required information is missing, a message appears.
