Deleting Serialized Units

You can delete a unit for a serialized resource. A record of the unit is kept for historical purposes.

To Delete a Serialized Unit — Inventory Adjustment

1.	In the Site window, select the Resource Management view and then the Inventory tab.

2.	Select the Warehouse tab and then select the warehouse in which the resource is stocked, in the table on the left side. The list of stocked resources is displayed in the table on the right.

3.	Right-click the serialized resource which you are adjusting and select Adjust Item. The Inventory Adjustment dialog appears.

4.	Identify the resource and warehouse. When you are enter the part number for a serialized resource, the Delete a Unit option is available. For example:

5.	In the Adjustment type section, select Delete a Unit.

6.	Select the unit to be deleted from the list of units.

7.	If necessary, update the following information:

Adjusted by

The name of the employee who created the adjustment

Adjusted on

The date of the adjustment

Reason

The reason for the adjustment.

8.	Click OK to delete the unit.
