Removing the Link Between a Standard Task and Template

You can remove the link between a standard task and its task template. This makes the standard task completely independent of the template. The standard task will not receive any more updates from the task template.

To Remove the Link Between a Task Template and a Standard Task

1.	Open the standard task.

2.	Make sure that editing is enabled.

3.	From the Tools menu, select Template and then Remove. APM asks you to confirm that you want to remove the link to the template.

4.	Click Yes. APM deletes the reference to the task template. The rest of the information on the standard task stays the same.

5.	Save and close the standard task.
