Printing a Standard Document

You can print existing standard documents. Textual documents that were entered in APM can be printed from within APM. Standard documents linked to Word, Excel, or PDF files can be opened and printed from APM. Standard documents linked to other file types can be printed from the file’s native program (for example, HTML files can be printed from Microsoft® Internet Explorer).
In addition, standard documents that are linked to work orders can be printed as part of the work package. The setting on each document controls whether or not a document is printed with the work order.
This topic explains how to print a standard document from the Reliability Program view.

To Print Text Standard Documents

1.
Select the site’s Reliability Program view and the Documents tab.
2.
Right-click the standard document and click Print Document. The Print Report window appears, where you can select settings, include attachments, preview the document, and print to a printer or file depending on your output destination.
Tip: For more information about printing documents, see Printing Documents.
Note: If you see a message stating that “The standard document report to use has not been specified”, then the standard document report has not been set for the site that owns the procedure. See Setting up Work Package Printing.
