Printing Documents

APM allows you to print reports and documents for many types of objects. For example, you can print work request forms, indicator checksheets, asset activity reports, strategy development analysis reports, purchase orders, and so on. These documents can be printed to a printer or a file.
For documents that are sent to a printer, attachments can also be selected to print with the report. For attached embedded Microsoft Word® and Excel® documents, any footer information is replaced with the source object name, user name, and date and time of printing.
To learn how to include attachments to an asset activity report and its sections, see Adding Attachments to an Asset Activity Report and Adding Attachments to an Asset Activity Report Section. For information about adding attachments to all other types of objects, see Adding Attachments to Objects.
Note: Attachments cannot be printed when the output destination is set to “File”.
Note: If you have trouble printing JPEG or JPG files as attachments, change the file associated with those formats to “Paint” in Windows Settings.
This topic describes how to print APM documents to a printer and to a file.
