Reviewing Upcoming Work

While you are planning a work order task for an asset, you can check what preventive maintenance work is coming up for the asset. If necessary, you can add these tasks to the open work order.

To Review an Asset’s Upcoming Work

1.	Open the work order.

2.	Make sure that editing is enabled.

3.	On the General tab, double-click a work order task to open it. The Work Order Task window appears.

4.	From the Tools menu, select Review Upcoming Work. The Browse Jobs dialog appears. This dialog shows the standard jobs that will be triggered for the selected asset.

To select jobs from another asset, you can select “Asset and below” or “Asset only” in the list at the bottom of the dialog. Or select another hierarchy, if available.

5.	Select the jobs you wish to add and click OK. APM adds the standard tasks listed on each of the standard jobs to the work order.

6.	Save and close the work order.
