Setting up Fluid Contaminants

Fluid contamination effects the correct operation of equipment and can have significant impact on productivity and maintenance costs. When defining fluid types in APM, you can identify the contaminants to which the fluid is susceptible as well as their triggering points for calculated indicators. When setting up the fluid contaminants value list, you can identify each contaminant and up to four calculation factors. The factors can then be selected on fluid types and calculated indicators that reference the contaminant.
This topic explains how to set up a fluid contaminant.
