Setting the Policy for Copying Standard Tasks and Jobs

For each site, you can specify what values are copied when a standard job or task that is based on a template is copied to another asset. If the task or job has been modified since it was created, either the most recent values are copied or the template values are copied.

To Set the Policy for Copying Standard Job and Tasks Based on a Template

1.	From the Site window, select the Reliability Program view and the Settings tab. Select the Reliability Program tab and the Reliability program settings node in the tree.

Tip: You can also select the Administration menu and Reliability Program Settings. The Reliability Program Settings dialog appears.

2.	Select the Policies tab.

3.	Click Edit to modify the site settings. The Edit button is replaced by the Save button.

4.	In the Source of new tasks and jobs created from a copy section, select the option for this site:

When a standard task or job based on a template is copied, these options determine whether the values copied are from the original template or from the specific task or job.
