Setting up Flows

A flow condition is an aspect of the operating environment in which the damage mechanism is prone to occur. Examples are motionless-static and hydrodynamic.

To Set up Flows

1.	On the site’s Strategy Development view, select the Settings tab. Select the Damage Mechanisms tab and the Damage mechanisms settings node in the tree.

Tip: You can also select the site’s Administration menu, Strategy Development Settings, and then Damage Mechanism Library. The Damage Mechanisms Management Settings dialog appears.

2.	Select the Flows tab.

3.	For each of the flow conditions required by your organization, click New. The Damage Mechanism Flow Properties dialog appears.

4.	Provide a descriptive name for the flow, for example, motionless.

5.	Enter a description of the flow condition.

6.	Click OK. The dialog closes and the flow condition is added to the table.
