The items requested on the requisition are added to the pick list.
6. You can sort the pick list to make it easier to pick the items. For instance, it may be useful to sort by pick sequence or by part number. To sort by column, right-click on the column heading. From the menu, select either Sort Ascending or Sort Descending. The table sorts the list by the entries in the selected column.Tip: To export the pick list, right-click an issue, and select Export to Excel. APM opens a Microsoft Excel and inserts the contents of the pick list into a spreadsheet.Tip: You can also change the quantity picked by pressing F2 and then tabbing to the Quantity Picked column. Press Tab until your focus is in the box that you want to edit. Make your change in the open box, then press Tab again to move to the next box.
8. When the pick list is correct, you can issue the parts. This tells APM that the material has been taken from the warehouse. APM then records the transactions and assigns the costs to the work order, asset, or requisition. The status of each line on the pick list changes to “Posted.” To do this, click Issue Parts Now. Alternatively, you can close the pick list and issue the parts later.
