The topics in this section describe the settings and value lists that you will need to enter before you can begin creating and working with APM indicators, checksheets, and inspection reports.

Note: You can create frequencies in indicator and reliability program settings. For more information, see Setting up Frequencies.

Tip: You can mark individual setting values as “inactive” while you are setting up values for Indicator subtypes. Inactive values are not available for selection on safety objects. To deactivate or reactivate a value, select the Indicators view, the Settings tab, Subtypes tab, and the tab for the type of setting. Select the value in the list and click Mark as Inactive or Mark as Active. The Mark as Inactive/Active dialog appears, where you can enter a comment and click OK. Click OK in the confirmation message that appears.
