Concepts Tasks Settings Changing an Indicator’s Asset You can assign an indicator to a different asset on the same site, as long as the indicator does not have an unacknowledged alarm. You cannot change the indicator’s asset if the original or new asset is an installed component or a location with an installed component. If the indicator is the original asset’s primary cumulative indicator, it is replaced by the first remaining cumulative indicator or, if a cumulative indicator is not available, the reference is set to null. If the indicator is referenced by a standard task or work order task, the task’s asset is replaced with the new asset. To Change an Indicator’s Asset 1. Open the Indicator window to the Properties view. Select the General tab. 2. Make sure that editing is enabled. 3. Click the browse icon () in the Asset box. The Asset Selector dialog appears. Select the asset and click OK. 4. Save the indicator.
