Checksheets and SAP Plant Maintenance

When APM has been configured to interact with SAP Plant Maintenance using APM interoperability, you can link standard tasks to SAP maintenance items or task lists. APM can then generate checksheets using the standard tasks when a maintenance order is created in SAP for the linked maintenance item or task list. When a checksheet is generated in this way, its Source tab displays the SAP information from the standard task, as well as the maintenance order.
When you create a checksheet from a standard task linked to a SAP maintenance item or task list, the standard tasks’ SAP information is copied to the checksheet.
When performing advanced inspection planning, you can create checksheets from scratch before maintenance orders are created in SAP. In this case, you can manually link a checksheet to a maintenance order.

To View SAP Information in a Checksheet

Select the Properties view, Source tab. For example:
The History view displays audit information for SAP properties.
When you are analyzing and recording summary information and recommendations on a checksheet, you can view the SAP notifications and maintenance orders that are linked to indicator readings as follow-up work requests or corrective work on alarm acknowledgments. For example:

To Link a Checksheet to an SAP Maintenance Order

Open the Checksheet window.
2.
Make sure that editing is enabled.
3.
Select the Properties view and the Source tab. For example:
The standard task and its linked SAP maintenance item or task list are referenced on this tab.

Click the browse icon () to open the Browse Maintenance Orders dialog:

You can browse maintenance orders directly or according to functional location or equipment object lists. Select the criteria for filtering the list on the Criteria and More Criteria tabs.

Click to view the list of items. (You can return to the criteria to refine the filters by clicking .)

Select the maintenance order and click OK. The maintenance order is displayed in Source tab.
8.
Close and save the checksheet.
