Setting up UI Types

APM administrators can set up user interface (UI) types that allow APM Remote users to display views that are optimized for different devices. This functionality was introduced primarily for remote devices but can also be used to customize the user interface for a computer workstation.
This topic explains how to set up UI Types in APM.

To Define a UI Type

Select the Customization Center view.

Select the User Interface tab, and then the UI Types tab. This tab lists UI Types that have been defined for the enterprise.

Click New. The UI Type dialog appears.

On the General tab, provide a descriptive name for the UI type.

In the Description box, you can enter a description of the UI type.

On the Views tab, you can view the list of views in which this UI type is used.

When you have finished defining the UI type, click OK. The UI type appears in the list.
