Inactivating and Activating GL Accounts

If you are no longer using a GL account or segment, you can inactivate it. You can re-activate the account at any time.

To Inactivate or Activate a GL Account or Segment

Select the Accounting view, GL Accounts tab. This tab shows a list of all GL account numbers and segments entered in APM.
Tip: To view active accounts, select Active accounts and segments from the configuration list. To view inactive accounts, select the Inactive accounts and segments configuration.

Right-click the account or segment and select Mark as Inactive or Mark as Active. The Mark as Inactive/Active dialog appears.

Click OK. The status of the account is changed.
