Updating Actual Work Completion Status in Exported Schedules

Once work begins, you can update the work completion status for work order tasks on a schedule that you have exported to MS Project. The work progress is updated based on activity reported against the work order task in APM.

When you update the actual work completion status for tasks on a schedule, the following information is updated in the MS Project file:

•	Work completion status — the MS Project task’s work completion status is set to the actual work completion status on the work order task.

•	Percent complete — the MS Project task’s percent complete is set to the actual percent complete on the work order task's work completion status.

To Update Microsoft Project Actuals

1.	After you have exported your schedule to MS Project, open the schedule in APM.

2.	Make sure that editing is enabled.

3.	From the Tools menu, select MS Project, and then select Update Actuals. APM updates your MS Project file based on activity reported against the work order task in APM.
