Concepts Tasks Settings Fine Tuning Schedules in Microsoft Project After you have exported your APM schedule to MS Project, you can start working with the schedule in MS Project. In MS Project, you can make the several types of changes to your schedule. These changes appear when you import your schedule back into APM: • Change a task’s duration • Change a task’s scheduled start date • Change a task’s scheduled finish date • Change a task’s priority • Define task predecessor relationships • Define task constraints • Assign resources to work on a task • Change a task’s assigned resource. • Delete a task’s assigned resource • Level a project To Fine Tune Schedules in MS Project 1. Open the schedule in APM. 2. From the Tools menu, select MS Project and then Open. 3. Use MS Project functions to work with the schedules.
