The topics in this section provide an overview of the steps involved in performing design FMECA in APM.

Note: Design FMECA is a “generally available” feature in APM. However, you must first enable feature 140 to use the functionality. In the Enterprise window, select the Features view and the Enabled Features tab. Click Browse, select “Design FMECA” and click OK. If APM is running as a smart client, click Refresh Enabled Features on the server. Then restart the client to use the functionality.
