Defining Improvement Opportunities

One or more opportunities for improvement can be entered for each criterion. These can be used when identifying the benefits of a reliability improvement project or capital project.

To Define an Improvement Opportunity

1.
From the Site window, select the Strategy Development view, Settings tab. Select the Prioritization tab and the Asset prioritization settings node in the tree.
Tip: You can also select the Administration menu, Strategy Development Settings, and then Asset Prioritization. The Asset Prioritization Settings dialog appears.

Select the Prioritization tab, Analysis Criteria tab and open the criterion you wish to work on. The Assessment Criteria dialog appears.

Select the Improvement Opportunities tab.

Click New. The Area for Improvement dialog appears.

Click OK to save the information and close the Area for Improvement dialog.
7.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 to enter all of the improvement opportunities for this criterion.
8.
Repeat steps 2 to 7 to define improvement opportunities on all of your criteria.
9.
Click Close to close the Assessment Criteria dialog.
