Creating an Asset Reliability Program Using Job Templates

An asset reliability program is a set of pre-planned work for an asset (work standards). In APM, this includes standard tasks, standard jobs, and preventive maintenance routes. You can include triggering rules that define when the work is to be done. Using APM, you can define, implement, and manage effective, proactive reliability programs.
You can create an Asset Reliability Program for an asset by selecting one or more existing job templates to create asset-specific standard jobs. For example, if you add a new truck to your fleet and you have already defined a number of job templates for the fleet’s reliability program, you can browse the list of job templates and select the ones to include on your new truck’s reliability program.

To Copy Job Templates to an Asset’s Reliability Program

1.
2.
Select the Reliability Program view, then the Program tab, and then the Jobs tab.
3.
From the New list, select From a Template. The Create Standard Jobs from a Job Template dialog appears. The list shows job templates from the current site and above.
4.
Select the job templates you want to use for the asset’s reliability program and click OK. A standard job is created for the asset from each job template that you select.
