Copying Table Configurations

You can create a table configuration by copying an existing configuration and changing it. When you copy a configuration, the original one also remains available for use.
Note: Shared status is not copied over with a shared configuration, therefore sharing must be redefined if you want the copied configuration to be shared too. For more information about sharing configurations, see Sharing a Table Configuration.
The type of table configuration that you create depends the Privilege setting on your user ID. For example, if you are running APMAPM Remote as an end-user, you will create a Personal configuration. If you are running APM as an administrator, you will create a Customer configuration. The steps to create a table configuration by copying an existing configuration are the same for all types of configurations.
