Changing the Status of a Blanket Order

Before you can use a blanket order that you have created, you need to mark it as “Active.” You can create releases from active blanket orders. When you no longer want to use the blanket order, you can mark it as “Closed.” You cannot create releases from closed blanket orders.
If purchase order approvals are being used, you must first have the blanket order approved.

To Mark the Blanket Order as Active

From the Purchase Order menu, select Mark Blanket Order as Active. The system displays a confirmation message. Click OK.
