Overview of Favorites

You can use favorites to monitor a variety of APM objects from one view or tab. For example, you might want to track a work request that needs to be approved, two work orders for equipment in your area, and a purchase order for materials you requested.
You can favorite the following types of objects:
Favorites can also be generated by APM to inform one or more employees about asset conditions. For example, when you are defining an indicator’s states, you can specify that employees be assigned a favorite for the indicator if it goes into alarm. Similarly, APM can be set up to generate a favorite for a standard job whenever the PM generation process is unable to create a work order for it. The favorite specifies the date and time that the trigger failed and the error that caused the failure. The favorite is created whether PM generation is performed interactively or as a scheduled action.
