Viewing an Asset’s Installation History

The History view provides useful information about the installation history of components and locations. You can also review any asset’s history of being added to physical and alternate hierarchies.

To View the Installation History of an Asset

1.	Open the asset and select the History view, Installation tab. The tabs that appear on the view depend on the asset classification.

•	All assets – tabs for the physical and alternate hierarchies list information about when the asset was added to the hierarchy.

•	Component asset – you can view the locations where it has been installed, the history of the current location, and indicator values accumulated while the component was installed at each location.

•	Component location – you can view the components that have been installed at the location, indicator values accumulated while the component was installed at this location, and installation history of the currently installed component.

2.	To see details about any installation change, double-click the entry in a table. The Asset Installation History dialog appears, showing the audit information captured for that installation or removal.

3.	When you are finished viewing the information, click Close.

4.	Close the asset window.
