Undoing Asset Life Changes

If a new asset life was started for an asset unintentionally, you can undo the action. The last asset life is deleted and any of the costs or indicator readings that had been assigned to the previous asset life are re-assigned.
You can only undo an asset life change if you have authorization to do so in the APM program. Once selected, this action cannot be undone.

To Undo an Asset Life Change for an Asset

1.
2.
From the Tools menu, select Undo Last Life Change.
3.
APM ask you to confirm your choice. To delete the last asset life, click Yes. To cancel, click No. If you click Yes, APM deletes the most recent asset life and reassigns the cost and indicator reading data that was collected during that life.
