Creating a Shortcut to an Asset

If you use an asset record often, you can make it easier to access by creating a shortcut to the asset on your desktop.

To Create a Shortcut to an Asset

1.	From the Site window, select the Assets view and then the Physical Hierarchy tab.

2.	Right-click the asset and select Create Shortcut. A shortcut is placed on your desktop.

3.	To view the asset record, go to your desktop and double-click the shortcut. APM opens the asset record.
