Adding Lines to a Credit Memo for Returned Items

Additional lines can be added to the credit memo. You can add both matched and unmatched credit memo lines.
A matched credit memo line is defined as a line on a credit memo that references an existing purchase order and line. A credit memo line can be matched to any return receipt created for the purchase order line (a purchase receipt with a negative amount). The return receipt must be entered before you can create the credit memo line. For more information, see Returning Materials to a Supplier.
This topic explains how to create a new matched credit memo line.
