Accepting RFQ Bids as Valid Prices

Once all of the bids are entered, you can accept the supplier’s bids for each resource as valid supplier resource prices. You can also do this when awarding the RFQ. This topic explains how to accept bid prices as a separate step.

Note: You must perform this procedure before awarding the bid. Once you have awarded the bid, you cannot accept the other bids as valid prices.

To Accept Bids as Valid Prices

1.	Open the RFQ.

2.	From the Tools menu select Accept Bids. The Accept RFQ Bids dialog appears.

3.	Select the option that determines which supplier bids should be accepted in your system as valid supplier resource prices:

You can have the system enter non-winning bids as alternate prices for the resources on the RFQ. This updates the supplier resource price for non-winning suppliers. • All bids are accepted: The supplier resource prices are updated for each resource and supplier on the RFQ. • Accept only pre-selected bids: If you have selected particular resource bids to accept valid prices, only the selected supplier resource prices are updated. You can pre-select bids by opening the supplier’s bid for any resource.

4.	Click OK. The system accepts the prices as specified.
