Setting up AssetWise Interoperability Systems

Create an AssetWise interoperability system for each root site that you wish to integrate with an instance of the external CMMS. APM automatically generates an InfoSource object and UUID for the system.
In MIMOSA, the CMMS is represented by the InfoSource object and uniquely identified by the UUID. The XML messages exchanged with the CMMS include this InfoSource UUID, which allows AWEIS to manage data that is owned by that CMMS.
APM is configured so that each AssetWise system is linked to the root APM site that owns the value lists associated with that InfoSource. If you plan to implement one CMMS only, set the site value to the enterprise’s top site.
Tip: If you wish to integrate more than one CMMS instance and you expect that users will manually create value list items (work types, for example), set up one or more value list controls and assign them to sites. For more information, see Setting up Site Value Lists.

To Set up an AssetWise Interoperability System

On the Enterprise window, select the Integrations view, the AssetWise Interoperability tab, and the Systems tab. This tab displays the active and inactive systems for your implementation. For example:
