Viewing a Failure’s Anomaly Events

When an anomaly event is created, a failure record is almost always created at the same time. The anomaly event is used to integrate with the AA&T system, while the failure event provides functionality not available in the AA&T system. The Anomaly Events view in the Failure Event window provides one location where you can add links to anomaly events and view information about anomaly events.

To View a Failure Record’s Anomaly Events

1.	Open the Failure Event window.

2.	Select the Anomaly Events view and the Anomaly Event tab.

3.	Select the views to see information about the anomaly event. For example, the Photos view shows the source reading’s photos.

4.	Select the Anomaly Events tab to view a list of the anomaly events associated with the failure. To link the failure to another anomaly, click New Link. The New Anomaly Event Link dialog appears:

5.	Click the browse icon to select an anomaly event to link to the failure record. Click OK.

6.	Select the Follow Up tab to view anomaly events for the failure’s follow up requests.
