Setting up Report Statuses and Event Rules

An asset health report status determines what can and cannot be done to an asset health report, such as allowing the report to be printed, deleted, marked as complete, or regenerated. Asset health report statuses must be defined before they can be assigned to an asset health report event.
You can set up statuses to be assigned to asset health reports. Setting up statuses involves creating them and assigning them to events that occur in asset health monitoring, for example, when the asset health report’s status changes to “Approved”, rules can be applied to that status that allows reports with this status to be manually updated, to have their completion information updated, and to be published, for example. Examples of statuses are “Approved”, “Published” and “Sent for approval”.
Once you have created report statuses, you can have them assigned to reports automatically based on events, such as the creation of a report. Events can include Sent for approval, Approved, and Published, among others.
