Sending an Asset Health Report for Approval

Your site’s approval settings determine if asset health reports require approval. If approval is required, you might need to send the document to be approved before you can report activity and publish the report.

To Send an Asset Health Report for Approval

From the Site window, select the Asset Health view and then the Reports tab. By default, all published asset health reports are listed.

Select the Open Asset Health Reports configuration and then double-click to open the asset health report that you want to have approved.

Click the Asset Health Report menu and then Send for Approval. The Send for Approval dialog is displayed.

Select the route from the Approval route list.

Enter a comment, if you wish. Requester comments are displayed in the site’s Approvers view, Requests tab, as well as in the Approval Request window in the Request Info tab.

Click Send for Approval. The approval request is sent to the first approver on the approval route(s) selected, and the document’s status changes appropriately.
