Assigning Asset Health Policies

You can assign policies on asset health indexes to denote changes in asset health status. A unique icon can visually represent each rate of change, and a percentage threshold determines when that icon will be used. For example, a red downward arrow can represent a 10% decrease in change since that asset’s previous reading. The icons can be viewed and printed with asset health reports.

This section describes how to assign asset health policies.

To Assign an Asset Health Policy

1.	From the Site window, select the Administration menu, Asset Health Settings, and then Asset Health. The Asset Health Management Settings dialog appears.

Tip: You can also select the Asset Health view, Settings tab, Asset Health tab, and then the Asset Health Settings node in the tree.

2.	Select the Policies tab. This tab displays asset health policies for the site.

3.	For each rate of change, enter the threshold percentage.

Tip: For decreases, enter a negative number. For increases, enter a positive number.

4.	You can change the icon for each rate of change by clicking Change Icon.

5.	When you are finished, click OK to save your changes and close the dialog.
