Column Name
The name of the column. You can enter the name you want to see in the table configuration. You can enter up to 255 characters.

If you are grouping criteria to use AND/OR logic, select the and/or behavior for the groups:

AND within a group, OR between groups: filter criteria within the same group are evaluated with AND; criteria in different groups are evaluated with OR.
For example, if A and B are different groups:
(A>3 AND A<7) OR (B>7 AND B<10)

OR within a group, AND between groups: filter criteria within the same group are evaluated with OR; criteria in different groups are evaluated with AND.
For example, if A and B are different groups:

Sequence number
The number that determines the order in which columns are displayed. The column with the lowest number appears at the left of the table configuration. By default, the sequence number increases by five for each column to make it easier for you to move columns without renumbering all of them.

Column width
The width of the column in pixels. When you select a column type, APM enters the default column width. You can change the width if necessary.

Allow or freeze horizontal scrolling
When the Freeze option is selected, the column appears frozen at the left of the table configuration. Freezing the column enables you to see the information it contains as you scroll across to view other columns. Any column to the left of the frozen column will also be frozen.

Hide this column
When this option is selected, the column is hidden in the table configuration. A hidden column is included in the table configuration but is not displayed. You can filter or sort data by hidden columns.

Include this column in row tooltip
If this option is selected, the column name appears in row tooltips that are displayed in tables that contain the column.

Alignment
The alignment of data within the column. The possible choices are left, centered, and right.

Icon size
If this column displays an icon, you can choose from these sizes:

Small (16x16 pixels) - this is the default size of most icons
•
Medium (32x32 pixels)
•
Large (48x48 pixels)

Flash
When this option is selected, the icon flashes when it appears in the table configuration.

Date format
Dates can be formatted in this column type as either short or long.

Selector type
If the column supports in-cell editing, you can select how information is edited. There are four possible values:
•
None - you cannot edit data within the table configuration.
•
Dropdown - you can open a list of items from the table cell to select the correct one.
•
Popup - a dialog appears from which you can select the correct item.
•
Both - you can use either a drop-down list or a popup dialog to select the correct item.

Text can be formatted in this column type as either plain text or HTML.

Complex data type formatting options
Select a complex data type formatting option. The choices are:
•
Export all parts merged into a single column: Both the value and unit of measure are exported together in a single Excel column.
Note: This is the default value for base currency, currency, and price. In order to sum a column of this type, it must be changed to one of the other two choices.
•
Export the number only: Only the value is exported.
•
Export all parts as separate columns: The value and unit of measure are exported into separate Excel columns.

Group by This Column
Grouping data combines the data from several rows in the table into one row. Selecting this option means data is grouped by the information in this column. If the column is a time and date column, you can choose to group by day, hour, minute, month, or year.

Pivot on this column
When this option is selected, the table is pivoted based on the first and second columns. When you pivot a table, you create a grid in which the first column defines the rows and the second column defines the columns.

Aggregate Type
The type of aggregation used for this column. There are five possible types:
None: No data aggregation is displayed for this column.
Sum: All of the values in the column are added together to produce a total value.
Average: All of the values in the column are added together and divided by the total number of rows to produce an average value.
Maximum: The highest value in the column is selected.
Minimum: The lowest value in the column is selected.

Make this column available for search bar searches
Select this option to add this column to the list of columns that can be searched from the quick search bar, or clear the option to remove the column from the list.
By default, when the quick search bar is turned on, all text string columns in the configuration are available to search. However, you can turn off the search feature for individual columns. For example, if a column is hidden, you might not want to include it in quick searches.

Search this column by default
Select this option if you want the column to be searched by default when users run quick searches. For example, in a configuration that has 10 text string columns, you might want all of them to be available for searches, but normally you only want to search on one or two. If a column is not set up to be searched by default, users must select the column manually when using the quick search bar.

Display the following tooltip
Allows a tooltip to be defined for the column. When the table configuration is exported to Microsoft Excel®, the user can hover the cursor over the comment flag in the column heading to see the tooltip.

Bold text that appears at the top of the tooltip. The maximum number of characters allowed is 50.
