• Prompt the work order task’s planned start date: The system enters the current date and time as the default start date. Planners will be able to change this default date.
• Do not prompt the work order task’s planned start date: The system leaves the planned start date blank, and the planner must enter a date. A warning message is displayed if the planned start date is blank when the task is saved.
The printed work package report is saved in the History view for the schedule, work order or work order task.
Select this option to have the system prompt the timecard's Hours worked box with the remaining planned hours. If you select not to prompt the planned hours, the Hours worked box will be blank on the timecards.
Select this option to have the system enter “0” as the default Remaining time on timecards. If you clear this option, the Remaining time box will be blank by default.
If you select the option Edit the hours entered on a timecard, you must also enter the maximum number of hours.
If you select the option Yes, edit the hours entered on a timecard, you must also enter the maximum number of hours. For example, you may want to set 24.0 hours as the maximum for any one timecard. Doing so may help to prevent errors in timecard entry.
Whether or not users can enter timecards for a future date and time. If you select the option Future dated timecards are allowed, you must also enter the period of time for which users can enter future dated timecards (for example, one day or one week into the future).
