Inspection task indicators

Specify whether indicators on the action plan are automatically added to its inspection task. You can choose one of the following: • Do not automatically add indicators • Automatically add indicators – when an inspection task is added, indicators currently on the action plan are added to the standard task, if they are not there already. When indicators are subsequently added to the action plan, they are automatically added to the task.

Activate indicators that are currently inactive for collection

When an existing standard task is selected as the inspection task, its indicators are checked when it is added to the action plan. If collection has been deactivated for any of the indicators, they are activated.

Update indicator next collection date with failure mode’s next inspection date

When developing a failure mode on an RBI analysis, you can calculate the next inspection date and then update the indicators’ next reading dates. Indicators are updated when the action plan is marked “Facilitation Complete”. On the indicator, “Collection due” is set to the failure mode’s next inspection date. The Next reading date source box displays “Failure mode analysis”.

For existing indicators that are added to action plans, specify whether or not the indicator will be updated with the action plan’s values. You can choose: • Not to update the indicator • To have the action plan values copied to the indicator • To have action plan values copied to the indicator only for values that are blank in the template
