Production loss accounting rules can be defined on assets of this type

Select this option to allow users to set the rules that determine how downtime costs are calculated for the asset. If you do not set downtime cost rules on an asset, the system uses the cost rules from an ancestor asset to calculate the downtime costs. If you select this option, the Downtime and Production Loss tab appears on the Asset window.
