Indicator to Read The name of the indicator for which you are entering a reading. See Also Asset The asset to which this indicator applies. See Also Type Asset types are groups of settings that define the characteristics of your organization’s assets. For example, you might create asset types called “pumps” or “piping and valves.” The asset type contains basic information, policies, and permissions, such as whether or not standard jobs can be created for assets of the type. When you create an asset in APM, you must specify an asset type, which then determines the information and functionality available for the asset. See Also Value Collected The value collected for the most recent indicator reading. See Also State The new state of the indicator as a result of the indicator reading. See Also Alarm Type The type of warning or alarm that is triggered when an indicator reading falls within the range for this state. See Also Date and time collected The date and time that the reading was collected. You cannot enter a date and time in the future. Note: If you enter a reading for an indicator that predates the indicator’s most recent reading, the reading does not trigger any alarms, standard jobs, or calculated indicators. See Also Note The notes entered by the person who collected the indicator reading. See Also
