Life-to-date value

The total amount accumulated over the lifetime of the indicator. This value is for cumulative indicators only. APM displays this information based on the most recent reading.

Reason

Select the reason that the cumulative indicator reading is lower than the previous reading: • Meter roll-over: Select this option if the meter has passed the roll-over point. When this reason is selected, the life-to-date value for the indicator is calculated as the roll-over value, plus the value of the current reading. This reason is not available for indicators that do not have the Roll-over value filled in. • Previous reading incorrect: Select this option if you are correcting the previous reading. When this reason is selected, the life-to-date value is adjusted to reflect the correction.

Alarm Type

The type of warning or alarm that is triggered when an indicator reading falls within the range for this state.

Fixed during inspection

If the value that you are entering causes an alarm, you can select this option to indicate that the problem that caused the alarm was fixed during the inspection. When you mark a reading as having been fixed during inspection, the alarm is turned off so that, when the reading is processed, no alarm is raised (that is, no icons flash on the Inspection Management view). The alarm reading is automatically acknowledged, and no further action is required.

Status

The status of the indicator reading. Possible statuses include New, Read, Processed, and Acknowledged. APM changes the status automatically as you enter information work with your indicator readings New: This status is the default when you initiate a reading. The status is New until you enter a value for the reading. Read: This status is used once you have entered a value for the indicator reading. When you process a checksheet, only readings with the status Read are considered. Processed: This status means that the indicator has been updated with this new reading. A reading is processed when the work order that owns it is closed, or when you process a checksheet. You cannot change information on the reading once it has been processed. Acknowledged: This status is used to indicate that an indicator alarm caused by the reading has been reviewed and acknowledged.

Collected By

The name of the employee who collected the indicator reading. APM automatically enters the name of the person logged on to the system.

Date and time collected

The date and time that the reading was collected. You cannot enter a date and time in the future. Note: If you enter a reading for an indicator that predates the indicator’s most recent reading, the reading does not trigger any alarms, standard jobs, or calculated indicators.

Map coordinates

The longitude and latitude coordinates of the indicator reading. Note: By default, the map coordinates are automatically populated with the coordinates of the asset to work on. Note: Latitude can have values ranging from -090.000 to +090.000. Longitude values can be from -180.000 to +180.000. For values outside these ranges, APM will accept the values and adjust accordingly. For example, a longitude value of +200.0 will translate to -160.0 on the map.
