Work type A work type is a site setting used to describe a kind of work, for example, “Inspection” and “Corrective”. See Also Work classification Work classifications are used to group work into categories relevant for your site. For example, you can filter and sort lists of tasks by work classification. When you select work classifications for tasks, the list is filtered to include only those classifications that have been defined as valid for the task’s work type. For example, if the asset must be shut down to perform the work, you might select an operating condition called “shut down”.
